Airdrop – A distribution of free tokens to users, often as a promotion or reward for holding a specific cryptocurrency.
ATH (All-Time High) – The highest price a cryptocurrency has ever reached.
ATL (All-Time Low) – The lowest price a cryptocurrency has ever reached.
Alpha – Exclusive, non-public information that can provide an edge in trading or investing.
Bull Market – A market condition where asset prices are rising, and investors are optimistic.
Bear Market – A market condition where asset prices are falling, and investors are pessimistic.
Bagholder – An investor holding onto a coin that has significantly dropped in value.
Burned Supply – The amount of cryptocurrency permanently removed from circulation by sending it to an unrecoverable address. This reduces the total supply, potentially increasing scarcity and value over time.
Bundler – a bundler is an entity or service that groups multiple transactions together before submitting them to the blockchain. (JITO)
Cold Wallet – A cryptocurrency wallet that is not connected to the internet, used for secure storage.
Centralized Exchange (CEX) – A crypto exchange controlled by a company or entity, such as Binance or Coinbase.
DApp (Decentralized Application) – An application that runs on a blockchain network instead of a centralized server.
DYOR (Do Your Own Research) – A common phrase advising investors to research before making financial decisions.
FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) – The anxiety that causes traders to buy into a trend before it’s too late.
FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) – Misinformation or negative news that influences investors to panic sell.
Front Running – When an insider or trader executes a transaction before a large order is publicly placed, profiting from the price movement.
Honeypot – A scam where insiders manipulate a token's code to trap investors into buying but not selling.
KOL (Key Opinion Leader) in crypto is an influencer or expert who shapes market trends and sentiment. They promote projects, share insights, and engage with the community, often on platforms like X, YouTube, and Telegram.
Liquidity – How easily an asset can be converted into cash or another asset without affecting its price.
Market Cap (Market Capitalization) – The total value of a cryptocurrency, calculated by multiplying its price by the circulating supply.
Rug Pull – A scam where developers abandon a project and take investors’ funds.
Sniper – is a trader or bot that rapidly buys newly launched tokens or NFTs the moment they become available, often before regular users can react.
Tokenomics – The economic model and distribution of a cryptocurrency or token.
Whale – An individual or entity that holds a large amount of cryptocurrency, influencing market movements.
